My best weekend discovery is courtesy of Pema Rinzin,  a world-renowned master Tibetan thangka painter. For those like me who did not know - Thangka painting is silk painting with embroidery, usually depicting a Buddhist deity, scene, or mandala of some sort.  This piece is entitled Peace and Energy (Blue) and just took my breath away at Joshua Liner Gallery.
