Gallery Bar is hosting a private opening on Friday for street artist Quel Beast. The intense emotional expressions of his portraits emerge from bold lines and bright colors.  The New York artist has been confronting his own destructiveness lately, and many of the works on view at  Gallery Bar are from his “Selfish Portraits” series. The intense emotional expressions of his portraits emerge from bold lines and bright colors.  The New York artist has been confronting his own destructiveness lately, and many of the works on view at  Gallery Bar are from his “Selfish Portraits” series.
